Mom Makes the Case for Going on 'Day Dates' with Her Husband

Do you still date your husband? You definitely should! But sometimes going out to dinner after a long week of working and busyness is the last thing you feel like doing. One (or both of you) is tired and just wants to Netflix and chill (which could also be a date, by the way)! @Jessica Uchtman recently had the "Best.Day.Ever." with her husband and wants to normalize the day date!

She describes their date, and now we want to do this date, too! They started at a bougie coffee shop, got massages, did some shopping and had lunch, and ended up at their favorite brewery to watch the game. Sounds fun!

In the caption she shares, "...this weekend did our first day-date and it was AWESOME!! It felt so nice to spend quality time with my husband, doing things for us, focusing on each other, and having adult conversations!" Sounds amazing doesn't it, especially if you have little ones at home.

Highly recommend!!" @boltsandbolts adds, "I like the idea, but day drinking makes us exhausted by 6pm." @Jessica isn't wrong with her comment, "The only people who don’t think of this as normal are people who don’t enjoy spending time with their spouse."

We love that @Lucy chimed in with, "As a babysitter, I love when the parents do this because I can do fun activities with the kids while they have energy!" And burning off that energy means parents might even get to come home to kids napping. We love it!
